WEDDINGS
The whole day, in order
These are not the five best frames from a hundred different weddings. They are weddings one at a time, told in order: getting ready, the ceremony, the meal that runs long and the party that never quite ends.
From each day we show a couple of dozen photographs and always the full film. It is not everything we shot — that is what you receive, and it is a great deal more — but it is the day end to end, including the hours almost nobody shows. Each wedding has its own page, with the venue, the date and who was there.
We work mostly across the Penedès, the Anoia and Barcelona, but we travel wherever it takes: these pages also take in a farmhouse 1,150 metres up in Osona, a wedding in the Basque Country and another in Galicia.
Where we have photographed weddings
We are from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and we work mostly across the Penedès, the Anoia and Barcelona, but we go wherever it takes. These are the places where we have documented a wedding end to end, each with its own page:
- A wedding at Can VidalSubirats, Alt Penedès · Paula & Diego
- A wedding at Pazo de XerlísA Estrada, Pontevedra · David & Yolanda
- A wedding at Cal Pubill de CiuretCiuret, Osona · Anna and Edu
- A wedding in GaintzaGaintza, Gipuzkoa · Ainhoa and Jeff
- A wedding at Castell de TousSant Martí de Tous, Anoia · Sara and Kevin
If you are getting married at one of these places, its page will show you how the light falls at each hour, which corners work and where people end up. And if your venue is not here, that is no problem either: we had not been to any of them before we went.
What you will find on each page
Every page follows the same order, which is the order of the day: both of you getting ready, the ceremony, the walk out, the cocktail hour, dinner and the party until it ends. There is no edit of the five showiest frames — there is the whole day, including the hours almost nobody shows.
At the end of each page is the full film and a panel with the venue, the date, how many guests there were and who from the team was there. Here we publish a couple of dozen photographs; what you receive is seven hundred.
How we work a wedding
We work documentary: we record the day as it happens, without interrupting it. The only time we ask of you is a quiet stretch for the couple portraits. No endless group-photo lists, no poses that are not yours.
When we shoot photography and film together we are four people with five cameras, coordinated so that nothing gets missed and nobody walks into someone else's frame. The film runs ten to twenty minutes, with live sound and the vows, and we send a one- or two-minute trailer as well.
